The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship practices, manipulation of peer review, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or other forms of research or publication misconduct..
Responsibilities of Authors
Authors are expected to ensure that their submitted work is original, accurately presented, appropriately referenced, and not under consideration by another journal. Authors must comply with applicable research-ethics requirements and disclose relevant conflicts of interest.
Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts fairly and independently based on academic quality, relevance, and ethical standards. Editorial decisions should not be influenced by commercial, personal, or other inappropriate considerations.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, provide objective and constructive assessments, disclose conflicts of interest, and avoid using unpublished information obtained during peer review for personal or professional advantage.
Misconduct and Investigation
When concerns regarding research or publication misconduct are identified, Scholastic Open Access may investigate the matter and request explanations or supporting information from the authors or other relevant parties.
Where appropriate, the journal may contact the authors' affiliated institution or other relevant authority.
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the issue, the journal may take appropriate action, including rejection of a manuscript, publication of a correction, expression of concern, or retraction of a published article.
