Biography:

 

Dr. Dheeraj Lamba is a highly respected physiotherapist, academician, and researcher with a specialization in musculoskeletal disorders. He holds a Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and a PhD in Physiotherapy. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Lamba has published more than 50 research papers in renowned journals and has supervised numerous Master’s and Doctoral students. 

He actively contributes to the academic community as a clinical teacher and examiner in India and internationally. Dr. Lamba is a life member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapy (IAP), a member of the Ethiopian Physiotherapy Association (EPTA), and the International Parkinson’s and Movement Disorder Society (MDS). Notably, he is the only physical therapist from Ethiopia who represented the International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (IFSHT) for 3 continuous 3 years. 

Currently, Dr. Lamba serves as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Physiotherapy at Jimma University, Ethiopia, under the Ministry of Education. His dedication to advancing physiotherapy education, clinical practice, and research continues to make a significant impact on the field.

Low Back Ache (LBA), Plantar Fasciitis, Osteoarthritis, Myofascial Trigger Points, Manual Therapy, Neck pain, Diabetes, Stroke Rehabilitation through Virtual Reality, Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) , Ergonomics in Musculoskeletal Condition’s.
